LPA District 4 and the South Florida Minigators Chapter invite you to the 2019 Fall Regional in Fort Lauderdale! Join us at the newly renovated Ocean Sky Hotel & Resort, situated just steps from the beautiful white sandy shores of south Florida! A few important things to know before you register:
- LPA Paid Membership & Registration is required for everyone attending the regional. - LPA room block reservation cut off date is August 20! See more info below! - Early Registration Deadline is August 31! Deadline has been extended! - LPA Registration is online only. Paper form available by request. - Review the LPA Conference/Regional Membership Policy and Refund Policy. - Read and sign the LPA Code of Conduct required by LPA.

LPA Room Rate: $109/night plus tax Standard guest rooms feature either a king or two double beds with a refrigerator, microwave, hairdryer and coffee maker. Each room has a balcony with partial ocean and Intracoastal views.
Reservations: Call the hotel directly at 954-565-6611 or 800-678-9022 and ask for the Little People of America group block. Our room block reservation cut off date is August 20! For those who would like to extend their stay, the LPA room rate is being offered(subject to availability) for 3 days before and 3 days after the regional dates. *Update: Our LPA room block deadline has ended. As of now the hotel said they will still honor the LPA room rate on any standard rooms that are available. However, they are running low on rooms with King beds.
Parking: Valet or self-parking rate is $18.00 for overnight or $8.00 for the day only.
Security Deposit Fee: The Ocean Sky Hotel & Resort charges a daily deposit of $50.00 on all guest rooms per night at the time of check in. This deposit will be used as a line of credit to pay for the following: parking, any room charges from the hotel Bar/Restaurant or if any damages may occur during your stay. If any or none of the above occurs whatever amount is remaining will be refunded to your credit card at the time of check out.
Room Cancellation Policy: You must cancel at least 3 days before the day of your arrival to avoid a charge. Cancelling your reservation after this deadline or failing to show will result in a non-refundable charge for 1 night per room to your credit card.
Check-In/Out Times: Check-In time is 3:00 PM. Check-Out time is 11:00 AM.
Hotel Information: - Hotel is a few miles from historic attractions like Las Olas Boulevardand the Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport. - There are restaurants, grocery stores and shopping all within a close distance. - Hotel has generous amenities like a heated pool, hot tub, Tiki Bar, game room and more. - Some amenities have extra fees, visit the Doctor Jet Ski website for miniature golf and water sports rental prices. - Onsite Restaurant: Cedar's Palace is open from 7:00 AM - 10:00 PM. Offsite Group Dinner (Optional) - Olive Garden Italian Restaurant 5:00 PM - We have reserved the private party room in the back of the restaurant for our LPA group. Enjoy an Italian dinner that includes unlimited Soft Drinks, Breadsticks, House Salad and your choice of one of the following entrees: Tour of Italy(Lasagna, Chicken Parmigiana, Fettuccine Alfredo), Chicken Parmigiana with Spaghetti, Chicken Alfredo or Shrimp Alfredo. Dessert is also included. Kids Meal Menu options are available for kids under 12 yrs old. Tickets: Adults - $22.00 and Kids Meal - $8.00. District Meeting at the Olive Garden Restaurant - We will have our district meeting at the restaurant before dinner to go over LPA news and events at the national, district and chapter levels.
Mix & Mingle - After a busy day, meet back at the hotel to mingle with friendsor perhaps take a dip in the pool.

Registration Fees: Per Household

Early Registration - Before September 9 LPA Member: Single $30 Couple/Family $45 Inactive/Non-Members: Single $30 Couple/Family $45 + LPA Membership Fee $55
Late/Onsite Registration - After September 10 LPA Member: Single $40 Couple/Family $55 Inactive/Non-Members: Single $40 Couple/Family $55 + LPA Membership Fee $55
Additional Guests - $10 per person 'Guests' are relatives or friends not living in the same household. They are subject to a guest fee when attending Regional events with an LPA registration. Ages 3 and under Free.
Registration Fees Cover: Friday night social that includes appetizers, to subsidize the Saturday night dinner for everyone, beach and registration items.
How to complete your registration:
1. Register Online & Pay via PayPal - Click on the button below to fill out the online registration form. Then click the PayPal Donate button below and pay online using PayPal. Enter your total registration and event fees amount. Please add 'Fall Regional' and the last name your registration is listed under in the PayPal notes section.
2. Register Online & Pay with a Check - Click on the button below to fill out the online registration form and then email here for mailing address to mail your check to. LPA Members - Register your HOH (Head Of Household) first. The HOH is the person the LPA membership is listed under. Ex: The person that the LPA Today and Conference Book is addressed to. You will then register and add additional household members or guests.
Inactive/Non-Members - Please read the LPA Membership Policy below before registering. Then register your HOH (Head Of Household) first and add additional household members or guests.
LPA Membership and Regional/National Conference Attendance Policy: In 2016, the LPA National Board established a policy that an additional fee for non-members attending a regional/national conference will be charged. The difference in price for non-members is a one-year LPA membership fee($55). All registrations will be checked on the LPA national membership database. Instead of paying the extra registration fee, it is recommended that registrants become a member of LPA or renew their LPA Membership. If you are not a member at the time of registration you will need to either contact LPA National to join or pay the additional fee to District 4 when you register.
LPA Membership: $55 a year per household. A three-year membership is $120(Save $45). Lifetime membership is $750. Senior memberships (age 65+) $20 a year. International Members and full-time college or vocational students are $35 a year.

REFUNDS: A full refund of registration/event fees will be granted before September 9. All requests for refunds must be made in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org. Requests received after September 9 will be on a case by case basis. There will be no onsite refunds and registrants who do not cancel prior to September 9 and do not attend the regional are still responsible for the full registration and event fees.
