We are looking forward to finally getting together again and seeing everyone at the Homewood Suites by Hilton Sarasota Lakewood Ranch. We will be right in the heart of the University Town Center area, surrounded by plenty of the best shopping and restaurants at the Shoppes and the Mall at UTC.
Head out and explore some of Sarasota's most popular destinations like Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, St. Armands Circle, Mote Marine Aquarium and The John and Mable Ringling Museum. Kids Hang Out - Ages 3-12 yrs.

- Children are invited to play basketball outside, have some fun with crafts, games and enjoy snacks in the hotels main dining area. Kids will be monitored by volunteers. Parents must remain in the hotel and kids must be potty trained. Ages 3 and under are welcome with parent supervision. Teens are also welcome to hang out or help with the younger kids!

- Come meet other parents, ask questions and share experiences. Topics will range from newborn to high school aged LP kids.
District General Meeting

- Meet the D4 district/chapter officers and find out what's happening at the chapter, district, and national levels of LPA.

- Meet long time D4 member and Author, Angela Muir Van Etten, to hear what it takes for little people to achieve greater respect and independence. Get the lowdown on LPA advocacy successes and discuss further what barriers remain to be toppled. In addition, one workshop attendee will receive a signed copy of Angela‘s latest book, Always an Advocate. All of her books will be discounted and available for purchase at the regional.
Emotional Intelligence Workshop

- Join fellow D4 member and certified Life Coach, Bianca Lee, for this personal development workshop on Emotional Intelligence - the ability to recognize your emotions and the emotions of others. Learn helpful steps to recognize what you are feeling, what your emotions mean and how they can affect other people. Bianca will help identify solutions to our challenges through emotional intelligence exercises and games for ages 16 and older.
Ninja Warrior Fitness

- Join ‘American Ninja Warrior’ contestant and trainer, Shane Scudder, as he shares his experiences having dwarfism in the fitness industry. Learn the basics of Ninja Warrior as Shane demonstrates LP friendly Ninja workouts for both adults and kids.
