LPA District 4 invites you to the 2023 Spring Regional on April 21-23 in Palm Beach Gardens, FL! Join us at the Embassy Suites, right off of I-95 and PGA Boulevard in the heart of ‘The Gardens’. The official home of the PGA, the Palm Beach Gardens area is known for its iconic landmarks, shopping and award winning golf courses. Relax in the hotels serene open-air atrium with lush greenery while enjoying their daily complimentary cooked to order breakfast and evening reception. There are many dining options along PGA Blvd and shopping nearby at The Gardens Mall, PGA Commons and Downtown at the Gardens. A few important things to know before you register:
• Per the LPA Policy Manual, you must be a current active member to register and attend the regional.
• LPA Room Reservation cut-off date is March 27!
• LPA Early Registration deadline is April 7!
• All registration fees are non-refundable after April 7.
• If you live local, you can register and join us for all the activities without staying at the hotel.

Cost: $5 per child
- Kids are invited to enjoy crafts, games, and snacks while monitored by volunteers. Parents must stay in the hotel and kids must be fully potty trained. Ages 3 and under are welcome with a parent. **We still need a room coordinator for this activity. If you are interested or want more info please contact Aimee Rudd.
Tween & Teen Activities - Ages 10+
9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Cost: $5 per teen
- Meet up with others for a hotel scavenger hunt, games and possibly swimming. Supervised by volunteers. **We still need a lead coordinator for this activity. If you are interested or want more info please contact Aimee Rudd.
OWLS Coffee Talk
9:00 AM - 9:45 AM
- Join the OWLS (Older Wiser Little Seniors, ages 50+) group for a morning meet up together.
Parents Meeting
9:00 AM - 10:00 AM
- Come meet other parents, ask questions and share experiences. Topics will range from newborn to high school aged LP kids.
District General Meeting
10:00 AM - 10:45 AM
- Meet the District Officers and find out what's happening at the Chapter, District, and National levels of LPA. Everyone is encouraged to attend this meeting.
Medical Workshop
10:45 AM - 12:00 PM
- An informative Q&A discussion lead by dwarfism specialists and members of the LPA Medical Advisory Board(MAB).

- Collaborate with long time D4 member and Author, Angela Muir Van Etten, to discuss and plan what we want people to know about dwarfism to increase awareness and acceptance. Angela’s books will also be available for purchase at the regional.
Boccia Ball, Corn Hole & Yard Games

- Hang out and play games with one another.
Painting Class
3:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Cost: $5 per person - Ages 10+
- Tap into your inner Picasso and show off your artistic skills! Join Heidi Elpers as she guides participants on how to paint their own masterpiece. Materials are provided. Ages 9 and under are welcome to paint with a parent in attendance.

We need your help to make this event run smoothly and a success! Volunteers are the heart of LPA, what make it active and keep it running. Volunteering is a great way to meet new people and engage in the organization. Do you also have a high school or college student that is in need of hours for school credit or community service? They are welcome to volunteer at the regional as well. If you would like to help out, please sign up on the volunteer form. Thank you!

Refund & Cancellation Policy
All registration and activity fees are non-refundable after April 7. Any requests for refunds must be sent in writing to [email protected] before this date. Refunds will be granted for all requests received on or before the deadline - minus a $20.00 processing fee. There are no onsite refunds. Those who do not cancel before the deadline and/or do not attend the regional, forfeit all registration and activity fees.
